At least MasterCam is Windows-only. But it doesn’t mean your Mac won’t be able to use it. Method 1

  1. Launch Mac first, then launch the Mac App Store.
  2. Enter “Partition Master” in the search bar.
  3. Tap the New button on the toolbar and select Create A New Partition.
  4. Please choose Macintosh HD Type Partition before tapping the Create button.
  5. Select Windows after clicking the Next button.
  6. Choose Windows 10 (64-bit) as your operating system
  7. Choose Created Partition from the menu.
  8. Select Windows 7 by tapping the Boot Tab option (32-bit).
  9. Change the file to an ISO image and press the OK button.
  10. Load the disc into your computer.

Method 2

You can use the link below to download Mastercam X9 for Windows. Then follow these steps to install it on your Mac:

  1. Download the Windows version of Mastercam here: [LINK]
  2. Partition your hard drive so that there’s enough space for both OSes (we recommend at least 20 GB).
  3. Boot into your Mac’s Recovery Mode by holding down Command + R while it’s starting up.
  4. Once in Recovery Mode, select Utilities > Disk Utility from the menu bar at the top of the screen.
  5. Select your main hard drive from the list on the left side of the window and then click on Partition on the right side of the window under Actions (it will be grayed out if you don’t have enough space).
  6. In the Name field, type MS_PARTITION; then make sure that Format is set to MS-DOS (FAT) and size is set to 20 Gigabytes (GB). Click Apply, then Close once done.
  7. Download this file and extract it onto your desktop
  8. Open Terminal by going to Applications > Utilities > Terminal or searching for it with Spotlight search (Command + Space)
  9. Run this command in Terminal: sudo /Applications/Install_Mastercam_X9_on_Mac_(MS_PARTITION).sh
  10. Enter your administrator password when prompted and click Continue when finished
  11. And that’s it! Now you can open Mastercam X9 from Applications like any other app!
